Performances for October Market
Come and check out the wonderful performances at this October market. We have traditional Indian dancing, story-telling about Deepavali, a Mime and Physical Theatre performance, jazz by some young Penangites, poetry reading, an amazing Performance reading of a comedy-mystery play, and the wonderful voice and saxophone of Rozz and Jascha.

All to be opened by YB En. Subbaiyah, Penang State Executive Councillor for Health and the Caring Society.

Tentative Programme:
11.30am: Himanshu Bhatt – The Story of Deepavali and other tales
12.00noon: Temple of Fine Arts – Dance
12.30pm: Official Opening: YB En Subbaiyah followed by traditional dances from Hindu Sangam
1.00pm: Mime and Physical Theatre
1.30pm: Jazz from the Young Coconuts Jazz Quartet and friends
2.15pm: “Philosophy of the World” poetry, by Lee Bok Seong
3.00pm: Performance Reading of ‘The Last Mystery’ – come and see Hercule Poirot, Miss Marples, James Bond and the amazing Fantomette grapple with a mind-boggling mystery – presented by the Penang Players
4.00pm: Rozz and Jascha – music not to be missed.
